RESEARCH

Research activities supported by the KSGC included traditional faculty member and graduate student research plus undergraduate research activities. It should be noted that many of these activities contributed to the formation of statewide research teams proposed as part of the successful Kansas NASA EPSCoR proposal. Listed below are research activities supported by the KSGC.

GPS Research
A Graduate Research Assistantship was awarded to Mr. Bishoff, an Aerospace Engineering Department graduate student. Mr. Bishoff will work with Professor Tae Lim on the feasibility of using the Global Positioning System to determine the attitude of an aircraft or spacecraft. This work will support both the Kansas Design Team and the Kansas NASA EPSCoR General Aviation Information System research cluster.
